Bolivia is a USAID sub-grantee assisting in the management of
scholarship funds, awarded to students at the University of Carmen
Pampa, 1/2 hour outside of Coroico. In continuing efforts to achieve
sustainable development in the Yungas, education represents a
lasting contribution to improving the lives of young people in
the region and in raising the standard of living for all residents.

The University has opened a small store DON PIOTR in the Achumani neighborhood of La Paz, where they sell smoked sausages, cheese, smoked ham, vienna sausages, pork ribs, organic coffee and other items produced in the Yungas region.
